You ready? Let's get this over and done with (Thanks to Mr. B):
Dear pro-Family American,
The Gay Bill of Special Rights has cleared the U.S. Senate and could be brought up for a vote in the House by Speaker John Boehner at any moment.
I trust you all read that bill above, yes? Then you know how full of shit this is. It's a bill to give gays equal fucking protection regarding employment. No special rights. At all. What's sad is that he seems to realize this, as will be seen in a bit.
Without your IMMEDIATE action, I’m afraid this dangerous legislation will reach Barack Obama’s desk for his guaranteed signature.
That’s why it’s vital you sign your petition to Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) and your U.S. Representative IMMEDIATELY.
I'll give you the link below, but first I'd like to tell you why the Gay Bill of Special Rights is so dangerous.
I'm honestly surprised at your restraint here. You usually get all up in our faces about clicking your links to donate money to you.
As you know, the Gay Bill of Special Rights has been the cornerstone of the Homosexual Agenda since the 1980's.
Called the “Employment Non-Discrimination Act” to disguise its purpose, it would really create a federally-enforced, special employment status for homosexuals and transsexuals.
See, you cite the name of the bill, and act as if you've read it, but you haven't.. Or, if you have, you're deliberately lying to everyone. Again.
See, if he'd actually READ the bill, he'd have seen that the language has little, if any, difference to any other civil rights employment act ever brought up, and even has a section specifically protecting a company's dress code, and prohibits the collection of statistics, which makes the law actually weigh in HIS favor. But noooooo, HE wants all gay people living on the street. That'll teach 'em to be born different from him. Or maybe the same as him. Ever notice how it's the most virulently homophobic who end up being gay?
Businesses, daycare centers and even churches would be required to hire and maintain quotas of radical homosexual employees.
Nope. From the law (emphasis mine):
Nothing in this Act shall be construed or interpreted to require or permit—
any covered entity to grant preferential treatment to any individual or to any group because of the actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity of such individual or group on account of an imbalance which may exist with respect to the total number or percentage of persons of any actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity employed by any employer, referred or classified for employment by any employment agency or labor organization, admitted to membership or classified by any labor organization, or admitted to, or employed in, any apprenticeship or other training program, in comparison with the total number or percentage of persons of such actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity in any community, State, section, or other area, or in the available work force in any community, State, section, or other area; or
the adoption or implementation by a covered entity of a quota on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.
Like I said, either he never read the damned law, and is thus lying by implication, or he read the law, and is now explicitly lying about its contents.
They would be practically forbidden to ever fire or even refuse to hire any sexual deviant.
And if they don’t comply, they would be risking a federal lawsuit -- maybe even jail time.
Nope.. Just that the (potential) employee being gay can have no weight in the decision to hire or fire someone. You know, just like you can't use the fact that someone is black to do so. Now, granted I can't find the penalties section of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 right now (big law, and the EEOC has it in tiny, tiny text, making it harder to see), but I'm pretty sure that jail time isn't included (though I think it really should be in the case of habitual offenders), though fines are. That's kind of the point of a law, though: kind of useless if there's no penalty for breaking it.
Public Advocate is on the front lines in the fight against the Gay Bill of Special Rights, and we threw everything we had at this dangerous bill in the Senate.
But to defeat the Gay Bill of Special Rights in the U.S. House, I must be able to count on your most generous financial support.
More about that in just a moment, but first let me tell you a little more about our Senate fight.
There it is: the money begging. Knew it was coming.
In the Senate, you and I made sure that several waffling Republican Senators held to the pro-Family values they espouse.
And we exposed the traitorous votes of a half-dozen supposedly pro-Family Senators to hundreds of thousands of their constituents.
Thanks to your support, we were able to stall the vote for months as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) sought a filibuster-proof 60 supporters.
Sadly, the Republican leadership in the Senate remained completely silent on this fight -- even though more than 30 Senators showed up to vote against the Gay Bill of Special Rights (S. 815).
I’m convinced that were it not for Public Advocate’s national effort, there would have been virtually no opposition at all.
Isn't hubris one of those "sin" things? Really, I don't think you have as much influence as you think you do. That and maybe, just maybe, there are more LGBT and LGBT friendly constituents of theirs than you think.
And with your support, we were able to shine a spotlight and kick-start a national debate on this bill.
Hundreds of news stations and websites are now reporting on the fight. And we showed the cowardly Republican establishment that Family values still matter.
We're talking people like freep and infowars, right? Because the only time I really hear about this fight is when you show up in my inbox. Also, that reporting tends to galvanize both sides, so you're actually praising the media for "pushing the gay agenda" in a way here. Though I admit that the people more likely to be LGBT friendly are more likely to have "cut the cord", so to speak.
But we spent nearly everything we had fighting this battle.
Goo....wait, didn't you say that in the LAST one? And the one before that? And the one before that? And the one before that, and the one before that...
Seriously, at this point I don't understand how anyone can believe you at this point. With the amount of money you, at this point, seem to be blowing on this fight with no results, either you're incompetent or a scammer - and based on the amount of lies you spew, I vote scammer.
nd now we must do it all over again in the House of Representatives.
You see, House Speaker John Boehner could bring up the House version (H.R. 1755) at any time.
And based on his history of betraying conservatives and pro-Family Americans, that’s a thought that sends shivers down my spine.
Oh, if only.
When the heat is really on, Boehner breaks his word and gives Obama virtually everything he wants.
That’s why Public Advocate has launched an Emergency Battleground Action Initiative designed to hold John Boehner and the House Republican Leadership’s feet to the fire for as long as it takes.
Here’s what you can do to help defeat the Gay Bill of Special Rights in the U.S. House:
1) Sign your petition below to the House Republican Leadership and your U.S. Representative urging them to vote against the Gay Bill of Special Rights at every opportunity;
2) Make your most generous contribution to help pay for Public Advocate’s mail, intensive Internet and phone program designed to generate petitions and postcards from millions of Americans.
Please CLICK HERE to Of course.... You knew I was gonna do something like that. Blablabla, cry for money...wait...
My staff is already launching our Emergency Battleground Action Initiative to stop the Gay Bill of Special Rights from reaching Barack Obama’s desk.
You actually have STAFF?
The rest of this e-mail is pretty much him saying "gay bill bad, me good, give me money me beat bad bill!"
It'd be nice if he could at LEAST not outright lie next time. You know, maybe just bluntly assert something is happening whilst being vague enough that I can't actually find what the hell he is talking about. At least then I couldn't say he's outright LYING...
